Great Wedding photos Larry! I have to give it to the Germans, they were a well dressed lot.

Hi Ian.

I collect photo albums, I had 40 until recently but sold 15 and kept the best ones. I also collect German vehicle photos and single portrait photos.
Wedding photos and portrait photos of the more obscure German paramilitary groups are my favorites but I do collect portrait photos of Heer,
KM and Luftwaffe as well. I have many 1000's of photos in my collection.

Here is a nice KM wedding portrait.

Cheers,
Larry

Hi Ian,

I agree with you. The brides look beautiful and the groom usually wears his waffenfrock and all his medals and awards.

Here's a Heer wedding portrait. The groom is wearing the EK II with ribbon, a 4 Year Service Medal, the West Wall Medal, Infantry Assault Badge in silver and the Black Wound Badge.

One more for now.

A young soldier and his bride. He is already a veteran wearing the War Merit Medal with Swords in bronze, the 1941-42 Eastern Front Medal (Ostmedaille) and a well worn Black Wound Badge.
