They are all pre 1936 daggers,in other words they have makers marks and not RZM issue. The SS is made by Gottlieb Hammefahr, the SA by Gustav Spitzer and the NSKK by Gebruder Born

Oh man! I do love TR daggers. A whole lot of character. I am hoping one day to pickup a nice SS dagger out of the wood work like I did my SA.

Yours are gorgeous!

Mike

now thats what i call a dagger collection.
How long did it take you to put that together John?

Funny enough, i almost never find daggers in east germany... i think the allies took a lot of them home as prizes ?

Fantastic collection.
Congradulations.

Thanks gents.I collected my daggers from 1979 to 1982,the last piece was the HJ knife, from my late gun dealer friend in 2000 who also dabbled in militaria,I wound him up by saying it was the first original piece on his stall  he did call me some very rude names. The prices for all these now have gone through the roof, would never of expected SA daggers to fetch £400+ like they do now, they were so common and my stuff is 'run of the mill'.I do have a collection bayonets and a WH sword and a Japanese nco sword which I'll try to get around to posting.John
