i just bought a really nice german WW2 color slide showing a german town with a rathouse (cityhall)
outside is a row of german army wehrmacht cars and even a nice shot of a german red cross car.
This is only the example shot I have but when it arrives, I can make a nicer scan.

oh cool i think i just bought a brilliant original color slide of the war time Rathaus (City Hall) in Potsdam. heheheheh.

Toruń

Nazi Germany annexed the city after the Invasion of Poland in 1939, and administered it as part of Danzig-West Prussia.Poles and Jews were classified as untermenschen by German authorities, with their fate being slavery and extermination. During World War II, the Germans used the chain of forts as POW camps, known collectively as Stalag XX-A. The city escaped significant destruction during the war. In 1945 it was liberated by the Soviet Red Army. As before the war, it was returned to Poland. The remaining ethnic German population was expelled, primarily to East Germany, between 1945 and 1947.

The State Opera House Vienna Austria 1941.

Die Wiener Staatsoper 1941, das „Erste Haus am Ring“, ist das wichtigste Opernhaus Wiens und eines der bekanntesten der Welt. Sie wurde am 25. Mai 1869 mit einer Premiere von Don Juan von Mozart eröffnet. Aus den Mitgliedern des Staatsopernorchesters rekrutieren sich auch die Wiener Philharmoniker.
