I have simply hundreds of old color slides of European cities that I have no location for.
Please can any one help me ID these locations.

a really great street scene.
On the left you can see some bomb damage and on the right, very old wooden buildings.
Also Sohlers Schuhwaren.

One more German market place with rathouse.
You can also see Wehrmacht trucks parked on the left side.

Hi,
The clue was provided by the Soviet coat of arms on that building. It was of the Soviet Ukraine.
So the most likely location for such a big castle would be Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.
So did a Google picture search "Kiev soviet castle". And found it.
You have a great site, by the way. Amaizing photos!
