I was intrigued by the pictures you posted from Franz Krieger and I did a
little searching around to find out more about his work. Here are a couple
of articles you might find interesting. The one from Spiegel shows the
album as unknown but a New York times article attributes the photos to
Krieger. The Spiegel article has 33 shots that were fascinating to me in
their composition. Some of these photos are so haunting I don't think they
could have been published for propaganda, I am glad someone took the time
to put them in an album and set them aside until the time was right.

there are a few very interesting color slides showing i think Russian military prisoners that are made to sing a Russian song in front of a German propaganda radio broadcast.
also note the star of David on one of the Russian uniforms.
super interesting color slide and also very clearly taken with a professional Leica camera,

All the color photos of this KB have been taken in "Russland" ?

Are the KB obliged to change the Yellow Waffenfarbe to light grey after 43 ?
What kind of tunic is he wearing ? M40 ?

I'm interest in KB documents as photos and papers, I hope to see more on this topic!

About Kriegers color slides, they were taken in Munich, France 1940 and Russia 1941 and 1942.
I believe he is wearing the M40 tunic.

About the waffenfarbe after 1943, Im not sure but maybe other members can help us with that ?
I think the user Mister X has more documents from Krieger.
Im sure when he has time he will show more here.

Hello,
the lemon yellow is assigned to the Propaganda Kompanie with a specific cuff title (16 August 1938, OKH AHA No.2790/38 g.K.). On 25 Jannuary 1943 (HM 43, No.112) the Propaganda Troops become a separate branch with the light grey as a new waffenfarbe.

Unfortunately at the moment I don't have other material related to Krieger.

This really could be a m40 tunic..
