My first table at the AGRA antik flohmarkt Leipzig Germany

I just wanted to share a photo of my first ever table at the famous AGRA antik flohmarkt in Leipzig East Germany.

Admittedly the best fleamarkt in all of Germany for military antiques and collectibles.

I had some extra material I didn't need, so set up my first little table.
It was fantastic fun and I got to meet a lot of great Wehrmacht collectors from Germany, Belgium, Italy and the UK there.

I'm contemplating the idea of doing it again.... ?

Looks like a nice array of items there. I am sure the fairs in Ireland pale in comparison. Was in Germany a while back but didn't have much time for militaria and markets, next trip I am definitely going to make more of an effort to get to some local markets.

it was and it drove the german collectors crazy.
germans like order and to be honest when i find some nice photos in the german flea markets, i normally blomp them down into one or two big boxes.
and then later go through the boxes. but to be honest, there were super portaits of ss, rad, waffen ss, little bits of every thing and real treasures that i was willing to let go for pennies.
But the german collectors just said, oh my god and walked away.
i dont think the germans like getting there hands dirty ?

This is exactly the type of table I like as I see deals when it is disorderly. When things are all "proper" that usually means expensive

I would have been so happy to stumble upon your table Ian.

my thoughts exactly.
i spend maybe 1 minute looking at a organised military dealer table, because i can feel my wallet melting and maybe 30 minutes on a bomb shell of junk boxes and little treasures.
